Just curious - waiting for next release of AirIsland -

What Pocket PC do you use to play this wonderfull game?

Me myself use an hP iPaq 5550. ( Wi-fi, bleutooth, fingerprint recognition)

I think AirIsland should be burned in ROM from factory.

XDA IIs or my O2 Mini depending on where I am and what I am doing.

The Mini is for weekends

The IIs is for weekdays

i'm using a a lowly iPAQ1950.  limited memory capacity, so when the game gets a bit more developed (ie five days or so) I can't even do a 'repair all' without crashing the PDA.  Have to repair everything individually, including all the trees.  Does anyone feel sorry for me yet?  Can't get below 10 ten days, maybe I can blame my PDA...

Do you get frustrated with the controls on the O2 Mini when playing Xonix? Or is it just me?

It's just you smile

I actually prefer the Mini to the IIs for Xonix..

But that might be because the IIs has been beaten up a bit and the controls stick a bit

If it's any consolation I have been playing on a Dell X50V and I have the same problem. I just barely have enough free memory to run Airislands. Now I'm wishing I had an X51V so I could have more memory. I wonder if my hubby would notice if I swapped PPCs with him?

I also experience occassional crashing on my iPAQ h1940, especially when I destroy a building with LIPs inside or walking very close to the building. Sometimes, after I reload the game, the "destroyed" building is still there and there was once I lost 4 LIPs and yet the building is still there. That was the most terrible loss I suffered because of the crash so far.

Cheryl.....I don't like your chances of swapping with Hubby.

Vicott....I accidentally destroyed 4 LIPs on the weekend. I'm still in mourning.

I'm running SpbAirIslands on a PPC-6700.  It seems to be running quite well on it.  I'm a newbie and have made it to rank 3 so far on my first island.  I did get a call while playing, but it froze so i ended up having to reboot the system and call the person back.

I'm on the Verizon version of that phone, the XV6700.  It's running pretty smoothly for me but I haven't gotten any calls yet.  I'm pretty terrible so far, but reading the board helps.

QTEK 9100 :), runing the QVGA verson fine.

Don't ask.

From what i see it would run equaly well on all the other Qtek pocket pc devices, and all there vairiants (Orange SPV, O2 XDA etc etc etc. Why HTC dont just sell there own phones is beyond me :?)

I'm not even sure if anyone is still visiting these forums, but I am using an AT&T Tilt (HTC Kaiser/Tytn II).

Palm treo 750 (Bluetooth, Infrared (kinda pointless), Phone). Its annoying that I only have a square screen and I cant see the ancient castle, but it runs well.
