To install 1.1 just go to download page and redownload setup file. Then setup the new version on your PPC.

i tried your method but it does not work. i have to delete the old v1.0 file and then install the v1.1 file. it cannot just replace the old file. hence, i have lost my old high score record

I'm having  a disaster on my first go at version 1.1. My previous best was 15 days. Today on my first attempt at the new version I'm 19 days and still going! I think it is my fault, however. Did a couple of silly things early on. I like being able to exchange more.

i also have the same experience. i think the LIP tend to work less nowadays. it seems that they have started walking around in the early afternoon and not doing any work!

Had version 1 and ran fine, just updated to ver 1.1 and know can not play the bubbles game.
It will not load from the within the game or from menu.
Does anyone else have this problem?

How much free program/storage memory do you have? What device are you trying to play on?

going to v1.1 definately seems to need you to de install and then reinstall...at least on my Mini.

Without that I found xonix acting really weirdly...cloning balls etc. It seemed there were 2 versions running overlaying each other.

Hi everyone,

The good news is I bought AirIslands 1.1 2 days ago, and I finished my island today (I love this game)!

The bad news is that on when I got to the Congratulations screen it froze and I could not click on either YES or NO.  I tried several times.  I have a Treo 700w.  No other button on the phone was responsive (other than the red END CALL button, which turns off the screen and turns it back on).  I had to soft reset the 700w.

I went back and opened the game again, and the same thing happens:  it shows my completed island for a second, changes to the Gravitator screen, and then changes to the Congratulations screen, and is frozen again.

Any idea what I can do?  I want get a new island and keep playing.

Thanks in advance!

Also I downloaded Pocket Highscores to publish my score (I only checked the Current island and Island 3 boxs in the Spb AirIslands tree) and it says:

"Error publishing Spb AirIslands highscores.  Please do not use old settings.ino file for your new islands!  Your current island have the same ID as one of the completed islands, so we can't upload it into Spb AirIslands."

Maybe this is happening because of the main problem I posted about in the post before this one?  Help!

Thanks again in advance.

I don't have any experience with the Treo. My best guess would be that your idea is correct.

Thanks for the reply Cheryl. Well when I loged in to this forum tonight I saw a picture of my uploaded island, so even though the message I got on my computer yesterday said there was an error uploading, it obviously did upload.

The bad news is that I still cannot play the game at all, when I start it, it just goes back to that "Congratulations" screen and then freezes. I put an email into one of the admins here asking him to please come read my posts here in this thread...hopefully he will come and help.

Thanks again Cheryl and good luck to you.

You might try uninstalling/reinstalling and see if that helps. I hope they can find a solution for you.

Hi Villy thanks for the reply.  I just emailed you the settings.ino (I emailed it also to Denis yesterday, he  had replied to my email).  Thanks to both of you for your help!  I'll wait to hear back from you.

P.S. Thanks too to you Cheryl!  Denis told me to delete the settings.ino file in the Spb directory, which got the game to work again.   Denis and Villy are looking into this issue.  Thanks again!

We've fixed the bug with Treo700w (posted by Nash).

If anyone playing Spb AirIslands on square screen devices, please download the fixed version from "Download" and renistall the game.

Just wondering, I'm currently using the 480x640 VGA-version, but normally I use my device in 640x480. I haven't seen a game developed for that screen resolution yet (except for TicTacToe which I wrote myself to test my Visual Studio mobile skills, soon available at my site tongue).

Is it possible that AirIslands could be the first game created for this kind of screen? smile
