Well, I finally got where I wanted and achieved a 10 day completion. Icing on the cake was that I won Arkaball while earning my bricks, so altogether I am really delighted :-)

Now I can go back to the real world and let my poor elbow recover - RSI from gripping the pointer I suspect......

Thanks so much to the masters of this game for so generously sharing their hints for better play, especially Vicot.

Congrats...you got there much faster than I.

I finally hit 9 days...sorry to knock you off the top 10 list. :-)  My arm fell asleep last night trying to get this island under the wire.  Gonna have to take a break for a bit.

Besides, there are all those Spb Brain Evolution games I have to play yet!

Well, Congratulations, you enjoy your place on the top 10 for a bit Zuben, I'm on the Brain game too now, and will go back to Islands later and see if I can get 9 days.

Seems to me that there is a fair amount of luck involved with the first couple of days, as to whether the LIPs earn a decent amount or not - do you agree?

There is some randomness, to be sure.  There have been some islands where those LIPs seem to be happy wandering around the vast wasteland rather than getting to task. <g>

OTOH, I have learned to build a little more strategically (ex. keeping houses near the sheds).  The hard part is keeping repairs in order and not killing off LIPs when leveling a house!
