Here are some hints and ideas that could help you to build your island

1. Repair as frequently as possible. To repair 50% costs more than to repair 10% 5 times. Plus additinal when you buildings are partly destroyed they give less effect (means you earn less money). I would say repairing once per 3 hours is enough.

2. Build sheds and place them next to your houses. An average job in a house costs $20, while an average job in a shed costs $60. So you will increase your income 3 times if your people will work in sheds instead of houses (they will work in both - they choose next work randomly, so you income will increase less than 3 times but still a lot).

3. When you build houses think in advance to build them in a way you can build a lake late. Your houses should be next to a lake. So find configuration of houses that you can build a lake later that will be next to maximum number of houses.

4. You will not rach high daily income without high economy. Economy directly increases your income.  So economy 50 will double your income, and economy 100 will increase it 3 times. The best way to increase economy is building windmills (because they also give additional people to work).

5. Build trees. Trees are the easiest way to increase happiness which is important for your income. Happiness increase number of works each of your people can do a day. With default happiness (0) one person can do 4 jobs a day. Happiness of 40 will double this number (it will be 8 jobs a day). As you see happiness if very important and you can increase it even having a small rank by building a lot of trees.

I hope it will help.

Wow.  Great tips.  Thank you!  I don't think I'll be finishing in 25 days any time soon, but this will help. :-)

Indeed finishing in 25 days is really difficult when you play the first time (I was not to make it). But when you play 2nd or 3rd time it is possible without big problems. You already understand how all buildings work and can plan your buildings in advance.

Any hints for Arkaball? My third game I scored just over 24,000 points and dies at level 13.

The grafx are cool and the top menu bar shows up unlike the original on Moibile Win 5.  The icons appear similar to the original.  Is there a listing of the icons for the new version?

Here are the hints I have for Arkball

1) don't let you sled become to big, it's harder to avoid loosing a life etc

2) If you get yourself into a bad situation i.e. small sled, small ball and high ball speed exit out of the game and then go back in and select continue. If you do this it resets itself as if you had lost a life but it doesn't subtract a life from your total smile (o.k. this may be considered a bug but I think it's more like an Egg)

3) Take a break now and then wink

4) Take it personally.....all bricks are evil....they must be destroyed....kill them all..........................................(insert evil laugh here)

WARNING : Do not carry the advise in point 4 over into Real Life........If you do you'll soon find out hitting bricks really hurts.......Must go it's time to reapply the bandages to my poor sore knuckles wink

Thanks for the tips. Now I just have to decide if I ditch my current game so I can give them a try. Decision, decisions... wink

I'm so glad you posted this. I had mistakenly caught all of the power ups that made my sled bigger. It ran across the entire bottom of the screen. Wouldn't you know - the ball got stuck bouncing back and forth and there was nothing I could do. I exited, returned to the game and was able to complete the rest of the level.
